Boa noite
I skipped class again today, so I have time to write something more! I went yesterday, but for the 2nd time in two weeks, our teacher didn’t show up without letting us know anything. You can imagine i was well p*ssed off. As you might already know, I need about one hour to get home from work (incl. 20min walk, 5min metro and 35min on two trains). I get home at around six and at half past six I have to go to school because class starts at 7 (I’m usually 10-15min late, but that’s normal here so no problem). It’s quite a rush and I’m not easy to motivate for a class that isn’t challenging me.
So, no teacher. On my way outside, I run into some friends that have class with a better teacher. Maybe not better, but more on my level. So I go to class with them and I learned more in this 1,5h than in all the classes together with my teacher. I ask this teacher if I can keep coming to her class (and I explain why), she says it’s ok. But then comes the lady from the administration, saying I can’t stay in the good class for practical reasons. Now I get really annoyed, because I want to learn something and I found a way to do so and now they don’t let me. But frankly, the fact that they don’t want to explain to my teacher what is the actual problem and that her class is getting too small, isn’t my problem. I’m paying for a service (well not me, but your taxmoney is) so if I’m not satisfied, I want a solution. To make a long story short and save you the details of my discussion with the school, I’ll talk to my teacher myself. If she refuses to let me go to the other class, I don’t go anymore at all. This class is not worth all the trouble, the other one is. And mum, don’t try to talk me out of it
Some more fun news! I still have to explain the “coelho”. Coelho is portuguese for rabbit and I’m having all difficulty in the world to pronounce it properly. For 3 days already various portuguese people are trying to teach me how to say it, so far only with sporadical successes
At work things still go well. The kids start talking to me, ’cause not speaking portuguese doesn’t mean that you don’t understand it either :p Well, they do speak a bit too fast sometimes, but then I make a face that says it all or I call for assistance
I hope tomorrow we can go to the shoppingcentre to buy the new playstation (so I can go play on the Wii and buy the other Bershka t-shirt. Juanita, keep me up to date on latest Bershka-fashion, ok?
) And also, but now far more important: at the postoffice in this shopping is a small package waiting for me. I recieved a note today that some of my mail was too “volumoso” for the mailbox. I already know who sent it (pauliiinhoooo) so now I just have to get there one way or another. I’m very curious!
Now it’s time to get some sleep, tomorrow is another workingday! Keep me up to date with the nicest gossips and stories like you’re doing and you make me a happier girl
(if you run out of inspiration, buy Blik. I miss that magazine.)
beijinhos!
